Expo Dubai Xplorer was created as a companion app for the World Expo 2020, a gathering of nations where each showcased current technological achievements and national identity. The event was attended by 24,000,000 visitors. Originally slatted for release in 2020, the app, along with the expo, was pushed due to the global pandemic and ran from Oct 1, 2021 – Mar 31, 2022. The app was a full “digital twin” experience. Architectural CAD data of the expos pavilions were converted to game ready meshes to provide an accurate 1:1 recreation. users were able augment their experience at the event by using the app to create avatars, solve puzzles, and collect digital stamps from each national pavilion. Because the app was a digital recreation users were able to digitally attended the event if they couldn’t attended physically. The Xplorer was one of the first successful major commercial ventures in digital twin creation and metaverse content supported by a large scale event.
I served as a 3D artist artist creating prop and environment assets. Assets had to be optimized to run across a range of iOS and android models and conform to the stylized art direction.

My goal for this environment was not to create a large, intricate scene but rather a modest, small scale environment to showcase competency with substance integration and scene setup in unreal. The environment is based around a train station in New Haven I frequent when visiting Connecticut.

This project was a re-imagining of Boyd/The Milkman's house from Psychonauts. I wanted to create an outdoor environment in UE4 that would allow me to explore creating more stylized looking materials generated both by hand in Photoshop, Zbrush and also procedurally in Substance Designer.

This project was commissioned by the U.S. Army Reserve who required an experimental, choice based adventure game centered around the life of a reservist. The game was meant to teach stress management and proper behavior regulation. I was responsible for creating many of the games characters and environments.
